Process/SkyscraperCompetition

Hopefully, a brand-new start for another competition due on Jan 09.
It's long, but developing never enough.





Flexibility is essential to the project: Structure components incorporated with basic programs(residential, commercial, entertainment...) and special events(playground, music theaters, opera, museums...etc)



Structure will be the next step to 1. engage with flexible programs characterized with mobility and sustainability.

Rooftopian

First time join competition by myself, KJMU 2008 award in Taiwan.

Rooftopia, exhibits a possibility of a growth society: its ambition to extensions.

When the selfishness of private extension was blamed by western urban planning institutions, some glory urban imaginations of order, line, and monologue orthogonally were created from architects like Le Corbusier.

However, can the power of extension and growth exhibits itself mutually benefiting? Based on this strategy, I develop entire urban prototype ambitiously covered from overview to details, from corner to the core, and from physical to mental.

Board overview: incorporated with each other, each board has its own concept independently speaks itself within connection to the larger frame.
